CO2 Cool Bi-Block – Transcritical CO2 Bi-Block units
The CO2cool-Bi-Block range, developed by Nova Frigo Engineering for MT and LT applications, consists of R744 condensing units for transcritical operation, connected to a ventilated evaporator to refrigerate a cold room. Each model is equipped with a single semi-hermetic piston compressor inverter drivened, for capacities from 6 to 44 kW in medium temperature and from 2,8 to 27 kW in low temperature. The system includes, in addition to condensing unit and evaporator, the electronic expansion valve to be assembled on board of the evaporator and the probes for management.
The power control box of the condensing unit powers also the evaporator, and includes an electronic controller of latest generation that is able to manage not only the condensing unit, but also the evaporator and its defrost cycles, the electronic expansion valve, and some cold room’s functionalities like the management of door-switch.
